Louis Kenneth Craven

PRICE — Louis Kenneth Craven, 50, died Nov. 5, at his home of heart failure. He was a member of Notre Dame de Lourdes Parish.

Craven was born June 10, 1957, in Price to John A. and Rose Oliveto Craven. He loved snowmobiling, the cabin in Scofield, his Harley, dogs, guns, boating at Lake Powell, family dinners, and get togethers, but most of all, his kids. He attended Notre Dame de Lourdes School and Carbon High School. He worked at Mendenhall/Craven’s Auto Parts, S&S Battery, Arch Coal, and also in the Vernal oil fields. He was active in the Carbon County Search and Rescue, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his son, Louis Kenneth Craven, Jr; daughter, Cozette Angelina Craven; mother, Rose Oliveto Craven; brother, Arthur John (Vickie) Craven; sister, Jayceen Craven (Brad Walker); dogs, Bella, Brutus, Kifi; and trusty steeds, Mustang Sally and Ranger.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church. Committal was in Price City Cemetery.
