Lucia was born in Mannheim, Germany on May 25, 1927.   She died on September 20, 2020.

She immigrated to the United States in 1962. In 1987 her heart was broken, yet the love of her three sons and several true friends kept her going. She gave her insignificant life to God as a Secular Carmelite.

She is survived by her sons Peter, Patrick and Michael; two granddaughters; two grandsons; and eight great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by son Leonard.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 24 at 11 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 331 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City.  Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Instead of flowers, please consider a donation to the Carmelite monastery or the Good Samaritan Program by way of the Cathedral of the Madeleine.
