KEARNS — Lynn Philo Green, 68, died Feb. 27. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Parish. Green was born March 23, 1941. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1959, and served until December 1961. He married Bonnie Lou Kilburn, and they had four sons. She died of cancer at age 34, and shortly after Robert, a son, died of cancer. In 1982, Green married Christine Lancaster, who also had four sons, one was deceased. Green retired from Kennecott after 30 plus years, and went to work for the Newspaper Agency Corporation in security/maintenance. He later retired. He was an excellent auto mechanic and carpenter, and was always willing to help. He was proud of the games he created for St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. He served twice as the Grand Knight of the St. Francis Xavier Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife Christine; sons, Ralph, Jamie, Warren, George, Tracy, Mark; sisters, Phyllis Smith, Diana Brunson, Carol Pickerell; brother, Lamar Blair. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
