SALT LAKE CITY — In anticipation of the coming of the newborn Savior on Christmas Day, the fourth grade class from the Madeleine Choir School presented the Story of the Nativity Dec. 20. Presenting this play has become a tradition for the school, which opened in 1995.

Students and parents alike learned Jesus grew up to be both man and savior, and his message was to love one another.

One of three narrators said, "Jesus grew in wisdom, love, and performed many miracles. His teachings were written down in the Bible so the world could follow his ways."

Megan McGill’s first grade class opened the play by singing "Go Tell it on the Mountain."
