SALT LAKE CITY — Mae McGill, 89, passed away March 21, 2012.

McGill was born in Chinook, Mont., on June 5, 1922, to Harry J. and Matilda Ryan McCabe. She married Paul W. McGill on Nov. 29, 1941. She was proud of her Catholic faith. She was a member of Saint Ambrose Parish at the time of her death. She was also a member of the Catholic Women’s League, Saint Ann’s Altar Society and the Legion of Mary for many years.

McGill is survived by her nine children: Carren Linn Downs, Nancy (Michael) Green, Paul (Catherine), Jane (Michael) Razzeca, Barbara (William) Pintner, Mark (Avez), Daniel (Susan), Mary, Lincoln, and David (Christina); brother Harry McCabe, Downey; sister-in-law Robin McCabe, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter Patricia; parents; sisters Patricia and Mary Janet McCabe; brother Frank McCabe; sister-in-law Jeanne McCabe, two grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Ambrose Catholic Church.
