Margaret Lucille Brusatto (Uzelac) passed away on February 6, 2025 surrounded by the love and support of her family. Margaret was a strong-willed mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Born on December 16, 1949, Margaret graduated from Saint Mary’s of the Wasatch in 1968. Throughout her career, Margaret devoted her time to the Attorney General’s Office, the United States Department of Defense, Winder Dairy and Blueline.

Margaret was a creative soul with a deep love for crafting and a keen eye for fashion. Passionate about human rights, Margaret took pride in standing up for the causes she believed in. Margaret valued her friendships built over the years, cherishing the connections that lasted a lifetime. Margaret’s individuality and strong convictions defined her, bringing joy through shared stories, laughter and memories with those closest to her.

Margaret is survived by her children Trisha Norcross, Georgia Vallejos (Jacob) and Sonny Uzelac; her grandchildren Anthony, Audra, Jacob, Kayla, Autumn and Isabella; and her great-grandchildren Jordynn, Maddox, Mia, Axel and Deven.

Margaret is also survived by her siblings Joe Brusatto, Charmaine Retford (Mike) and Jim Brusatto (Angi).

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents James and Lucille Brusatto, as well as her beloved canine companion Kona, who remained a loyal presence in her life for many years.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Margaret’s sister Charmaine for her unwavering care and support throughout the years.

A service to honor and celebrate Margaret’s life was held February 14 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Magna. Committal was at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Salt Lake City.
