Images from various cultures representing the Blessed Virgin Mary are displayed during the annual Diocese of Salt Lake City Intercultural Marian Celebration, held Sept. 27 at Saint Therese of the Child Jesus Parish in Midvale. Prior to attending Mass, various cultural groups from within the diocese carried the images in a procession. The event was directed by  Father Joseph Frez, pastor of Saint Therese of the Child Jesus Parish; Maria-Cruz Gray, director of the diocesan Office of Hispanic Ministries; and Arlita Llenares from the Cathedral of the Madeleine.
