Monsignor Colin F. Bircumshaw, vicar general of the Diocese of Salt Lake City, concelebrates the 35th anniversary Mass of Saint Jude Maronite Church in Murray with Maronite Chorbishop Michael Kail, protopresbyter of the Midwestern Region for the Eparchy of Our Lady of Lebanon, representing Maronite Bishop Robert Shaheen; and Monsignor Bill Bonczewski, former pastor of St. Jude Parish in Murray. "It’s always good when we gather together to celebrate anniversaries, because sometimes I think we need reminders of the hard work that has gone into the building of communities – not just buildings, anybody can build buildings – but what it takes to build a community of faith, people worshiping the one God, and coming together amidst all sorts of strife, all sorts of difficulties, and establishing the people of God in a city where we did not have a community for the Maronites before," Chorbishop Kail said.
