DRAPER — Maryn Nicole Cella, 5, died Jan. 25, 2011, following a courageous battle with a rare form of brain cancer. Cella was born Oct. 20, 2005 in Sandy to Annette and Travis Cella. She was a pillar of light and love, and touched the lives of many people all over the world. She was a beacon of inspiration and happiness, though her days were numbered. She came into the world like a lamb – quiet, peaceful and happy. She grew into a playful, happy child who loved to play with her friends and sisters, dance ballet, read books, play the piano and draw, and most of all loved her dollies and stuffed animals. She brought happiness to many people and fulfillment and meaning to her mother’s life. She and her mother were inseparable from the day she was born. Together they bravely fought the disease that eventually took her life. She also loved her daddy very much. They spent many days making special memories together. She will be deeply missed. Cella is survived by her mother Annette Cella; father, Travis (Wannisa) Cella; sisters Olivia, Moriah; half-brother Alex; step-sister Sara; grandparents Gerald and Margaret Bowen and Ron and Judy Cella; and many aunts, uncles and extended family members. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church. Interment was in Larkin Sunset Gardens.
