The Blessed Sacrament Parish Bible study group gathered May 2 for a May Crowning, during which they recited the rosary and placed garlands and a crown of flowers on a statue of Mary that is outside the parish center.

May Crowning is a traditional Roman Catholic ritual that honors the Virgin Mother as “the Queen of May.”
