NORTH OGDEN — Michael Lee Murphy, 42, died July 24, at Ogden Regional Hospital. Murphy was born Oct. 24, 1966, in Denver, Colo., to Ken and Jean Murphy. He graduated from Canyon View High School in 1985. He married Janet Hickell. They later divorced. They had one daughter and one granddaughter. He had a wonderful talent for making people laugh and a real gift for listening. Mike and his daughter had a very special bond and enjoyed going to yard sales and just hanging out. He loved tinkering with and buying or swapping car stereos and speakers. He also loved spending time with his girlfriend Kolette Pebley. He is survived by his parents; his daughter Halie; granddaughter, Kambrie; his true love Kolette Pebley; his brother, Jeff; nephews Chaz and Austin; nieces, Aimee and Shaylynn; and many uncles and aunts. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint James Catholic Church. Cremation was under the direction of Myers Mortuary.
