SALT LAKE CITY — Milan Corak, 92, died Dec. 4. Corak was born April 24, 1914. He was a man’s man, who endured the Great Depression. He developed big muscles and a strong body from picking and hauling coal since the age of 14. His Croatian heritage was a constant source of pride, and he spoke the language fluently. Corak married Antonia Skriner in November, 1936. They recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. He was a Mason in the Joppa Lodge No. 265 in Price, Utah for 53 years. He is survived by seven grandchildren, Richard T. (Carol), David P., Mila-Mary (Dan) Bassian, Michael (Julie), Mitchell, Norman D., Christopher Robinson, and Mila-Le (Micah) Fester; six great-grandchildren; two siblings, Helen Bruno and Olga Roth; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Mary Corak, Zelpha Vuksinick, Violet Skriner, Henry (Nadine) Skriner, and Bill Perri. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Committal was in Larkin Sunset Lawn Mausoleum.
