National Day of Prayer

At the National Day of Prayer Community Leadership Breakfast held May 4 at the Awaken Event Center in South Jordan, Fr. Langes Silva, judicial vicar of the Diocese of Salt Lake City, offered a prayer for families and for the sanctity of marriage. He asked God, in part, to “protect and watch over our families, so that in the strength of your grace, its members may enjoy prosperity [and] possess the priceless gift of your peace.” The ecumenical event was hosted by Standing Together.
