Bishop John C. Wester anoints the new altar of St. Martin de Porres Church in Taylorsville with the oil of Chrism Aug. 5. In addition to the new altar, a new ambo was also set in place. 

Father Jan Bednarz, pastor of St. Martin de Porres Parish, thanks and congratulates parishioner Steve Moran, designer and maker of the church's new altar and ambo.
