New Diaconal Class Under Way

The diaconal formation class that began Jan. 8 in the Diocese of Salt Lake City is comprised of 10 men from throughout Utah. There is one aspirant from St. George Parish in St. George, two from St. Thomas More Parish in Cottonwood Heights, one from St. Olaf Parish in Bountiful, four from St. Mary Parish in West Haven, one from Sacred Heart Parish in Salt Lake City and one from St. Rose of Lima Parish in Layton.

The men are in the aspirancy period of the six-year program. Their anticipated ordination date is 2027.
