New name for Guardian Angel Daycare

DRAPER — Guardian Angel Daycare on the Skaggs Catholic Center in Draper has changed its name to Guardian Angel Child Development Center to reflect their dedication to spiritually, academically and emotionally nurturing children’s overall growth within a Christian education framework.

The Skaggs Catholic Center also is home to Saint John the Baptist Elementary and Middle schools and Juan Diego Catholic High School.  

The decision to rename the center highlights an important distinction between a day care, which primarily focuses on meeting children’s basic needs during the day, and a child development center, which emphasizes a holistic approach to education and growth. Guardian Angel Child Development Center goes beyond these expectations by integrating structured learning, educational activities and spiritual development.

The new logo symbolizes the mission and commitment to nurturing children within a faith-filled environment. This logo accompanies the new name, reflecting their dedication to child development through structured learning, spiritual guidance and community involvement.

Guardian Angel Child Development Center provides developmentally appropriate programs and encourages open communication with parents while serving the Skaggs Catholic Center community and beyond. Their belief is that a child’s emotional, moral and spiritual development are as important as their intellectual and physical progress. Since 1999, Guardian Angel Child Development Center has offered families the opportunity to receive quality care in a setting with strong spiritual values. Set in a school environment, children benefit from an atmosphere that is proven to provide an easier transition to preschool and kindergarten.
