October is Intermountain Catholic Subscription Month

The annual Intermountain Catholic Subscription Drive starts Oct. 1. Each year we ask that your renew your subscription – or begin a new subscription – to this newspaper, which brings all your local Catholic news to your mailbox.

Your $25 subscription for the year brings not only 47 issues to your door, but also benefits your parish by contributing to its assessment and helps provide for the Intermountain Catholic’s online presence on Facebook and Twitter.

We work hard to offer the Good News as well as the good news of our parish and diocese. In the past year we have published the bishop’s messages on various issues, such as the one for Respect Life Month in this issue. We also have written about the priests who received new assignments as pastor, and about those priests celebrating significant anniversaries of their priestly ordination. In addition, we covered numerous pro-life activities and provided information about the Year of St. Joseph. Stories about Pope Francis and his activities and messages have appeared in these pages, too.

As Bishop Oscar A. Solis, the publisher of the Intermountain Catholic has said, this newspaper is “not only a good resource for catechesis, inspiration and spiritual guidance, but it also connects the Church with the faithful and with each other, promoting and enhancing the spirit of unity that builds our communion as the Body of Christ, his Church.”
