Parish Holds 'Collections Parade' For Donations and Food Drive

St. Joseph the Worker Parish held a ?Collections Parade? on Palm Sunday, accepting donations for the Diocesan Development Drive, CRS Rice Bowl, the parish's building fund and the regular Sunday collections.

St. Joseph the Worker Parish held a “Collections Parade” on Palm Sunday, accepting donations for the Diocesan Development Drive, CRS Rice Bowl, the parish’s building fund and the regular Sunday collections. Knights of Columbus under Grand Knight Mike Anglin and the parish’s ushers provided the bulk of the collection effort. In addition, they collected food for a local food bank. Also that day, Father Javier Virgen, pastor, and Deacon Sunday Espinosa, handed out palms.
