Hail to the Chief! Rachel Coffey, Judge Memorial Class of 2008, has recently been elected President of the Associated Students of Linfield College (ASLC) for the 2011-2012 school year. She has previously served on the ASLC senate; the Linfield Activities Board (LAB) as coordinator for off-site activities that included trips to Portland and Seattle to various sporting and cultural events; and LAB coordinator for on-site entertainment. Linfield College is a private liberal arts college located in McMinnville, Oregon.

Congratulazioni! Kimberly Tosti, member of St. Mary of the Assumption Parish and daughter of Deacon Tom and Nancy Tosti, graduated this week from Westminster College, with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and a minor in music. This summer she plans to continue her studies at La Musica Lirica, a five-week operatic performance workshop in Novafeltria, Italy.

Taking it to the Mat! Andrew Sedillo will be taking over as the new head coach for the Juan Diego Soaring Eagle wrestling team.

National Field! Kendra "Koko" Novak, a junior at Judge Memorial Catholic High School, has been selected for the Utah/Idaho high school Girl’s Lacrosse Team. Novak will go on to the national competition in May and compete with girls from across the country.

The Votes are In! The Knights of Columbus Utah State Council voted on their state officers at their annual convention on May 8. The state officers, who were all re-elected, are State Deputy Ray Lopez, State Secretary Robert Masse Jr., State Treasurer Jerald Hanten, State Advocate Andrew Airriess and State Warden Rick Kump.

Kick it Up! Brionna Anderson has been named the new head coach for the SilverLine Drill team at Juan Diego Catholic High School.

Perfect Pitch! Judge Memorial Catholic High School students who participated in State Competition in Music all received a Superior or Excellent.

Community Generosity! The Most Rev. Dennis M. Schnurr, Archbishop of Cincinnati and Chairman of U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Catholic Communication Campaign, extends his gratitude to Bishop John C. Wester and the people of the Diocese of Salt Lake City for their contribution of $11,841.70 to the 2010 Catholic Communication Campaign.
