Big Winners! Winners of the Saint Therese of the Child Jesus Parish summer festival raffle were Margaret Spencer, Enedina Stubbs, Armando Ruiz, Martin Hernandez and Father Hernando Diaz, who had served as associate pastor of the parish but is now pastor of Saint Bridget Parish and its associated missions.

Smart Moves! Alex Wright, Judge Memorial Class of 2011, was named to the President’s and Dean’s Lists at Gonzaga University and has been invited to dance on the Bomb Squad Dance Company for a second year.

Awarded! Sydney Richards, Judge Memorial Class of 2012, has been named a 2011-2012 Discus Award recipient.

Moving On! Cardinal William Levada, prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith and president of the Pontifical Commission "Ecclesia Dei," of the Pontifical Biblical Commission and of the International Theological Commission, has resigned, having reached the age limit. His successor is Archbishop Gerhard Ludwig Muller of Regensburg, Germany.

They are: Father Stanislaus Bona, July 20, 1969; Father James C. Coyne, July 28, 1978; Father Joseph G. Delaire, July 26, 1953; Father Everett R. Harman, July 18, 19673; Monsignor Patrick F. Kennedy, July 2, 1978; Father Edward C. Metzger, July 25, 2011; Father James T. Torsney, July 17, 1958; Deacon Tom Buller, July 31, 2003 and Deacon Douglas R. Sliger, July 16, 2006.
