SALT LAKE CITY — Exclusive Allstate Agent Patrick DePaulis, a graduate of Judge Memorial Catholic High School, received the Agency Hands in the Community award for his commitment to volunteering in the community. With this award comes a $500 grant from The Allstate Foundation for the Signing Time! Foundation where DePaulis volunteers.  DePaulis helps the organization raise funds to build playgrounds throughout Utah.

"Allstate is proud to help the Signing Time! Foundation with its cause," said Denis Bailey, field vice president for Allstate’s Southwest region. "The grant from The Allstate Foundation will provide much needed assistance for its efforts. We believe in supporting programs to strengthen the communities where we live and work."

Through the Agency Hands in the Community grant program, Allstate agents and personal financial representatives are recognized for outstanding commitment to community service with a $500 donation to the charitable organization where they volunteer. To qualify for the grant, agents or personal financial representatives must show evidence of volunteer work that has had a positive impact on the local community.

Allstate Insurance Company’s Southwest region supports a network of agencies that serve households in the states of Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Utah.

These agencies provide a large variety of insurance and financial products. Agents and employees of the Southwest region have a long, proud history of supporting the communities where they live and do business through volunteerism and charitable contributions. The Allstate Foundation gave $78,000 throughout the region in 2007 through the Agency Hands in the Community grant program.
