February 2, 1943 ~ November 27, 2017  

Pauleen Guthmann Dolling, 74, passed away from Glioblastoma (brain cancer) in Perry, Utah.   She was born on February 2, 1943 and was the second of 11 children to Barbara Martha Bader Guthmann and Paul Theodore Guthmann in Grand Island, Neb.

She graduated from the University of Wyoming with a degree in nursing in 1964, and married William (Bill) Thomas Dolling on June 5, 1964 in Laramie, Wyo. at the St. Paul’s Newman Center.  She gave freely of her time and resources to those in need. She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church and loved the Lord with all her heart.

She is survived by her husband Bill; five children: Justin (Jean) Dolling, Toni (Alan) Walker, Tina (Kirk) Coombs, Julie (Louie) Martinez, and Wendy (Todd) Moffitt; 13 grandchildren: Ann Marie and Brant (Rebekah) Dolling; Weston and Logan Walker; Tate, Cody, and Kadi Coombs; Shafer, Brooke, and Zeke Martinez; Sadie, Brady, and Tyler Moffitt; siblings: Suzanne (Paul) Grasso of Wyoming; Charles (L.J.) Guthmann of Wyoming; Madeline (Terry) Archer of New York/Colorado; Jane Birkey of New Mexico; Mary (David) Young of Wyoming; Anne (Tom) Blumenshine of Washington; Josephine Fuller of Colorado; Michele (Rod) Osterman of Wyoming; and 13 nieces and seven nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Kathleen Guthmann and Margaret (Dave) Storer; and brother-in-law, Steve Birkey.

The family wishes to thank the staff of University of Utah Hospital, Huntsman Cancer Institute, and Symbii Home Health and Hospice for their excellent care and service.  Special thanks to those who sent cards, letters and flowers.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Henry’s Social Hall Building Fund, PO Box 872, Brigham City, UT  84302.  

A funeral Mass was celebrated December 2 at St. Henry Catholic Church; graveside services were at Brigham City Cemetery.
