Prayer Garden Dedicated

On Sept. 27 members of St. Andrew Parish and School in Riverton gathered for a blessing and dedication of the parish’s new prayer garden, the St. Andrew Prayer Garden in Honor of Our Mother Mary, located just north of the school building. Shown is Father Joseph Delka, pastor, blessing the garden. Afterward, St. Andrew School Principal Holly Groves (right), spoke, saying that every detail of the garden, including the flowers that were chosen, was inspired by members of the St. Andrew community. The garden, funded by the ALSAM Foundation, is a sacred space where the St. Andrew community gathers as one, said Groves, who was the one who originally came up with the idea for the garden.
