Richard D. Herrera

Richard D. Herrera, a devoted father, a fun loving grandpa, great-grandpa, brother, uncle, and true friend passed away on June 3, 2016. 

He was born Nov. 19, 1947 in Center, Colo. to Joe and Sally Herrera.

His true love for his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many family and friends is what will be missed most. 

He is survived by his children, Deona Herrera (Scott), Sophia Herrera, Chad (Paula) Herrera, Katrina (Ray) Paddock, and Alicia (Tomas) Montanez; grandchildren Samantha, Mario, Gabe, Josie, Aleeya, Alaina, Madisyn, Tomas Jr., Bear, and Jacob; great-grandson Wyatt; many brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews; and his lifelong friend and mother of his children, Marlene Burns. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Sally Herrera; and nephews Travis Martinez and Caleb Herrera. 

A Memorial Mass was celebrated at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Committal was at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
