BOUNTIFUL — Richard Crump, 45 passed away April 7, 2012, due to bacterial meningitis.

Crump was born July 5, 1966 to Linda Simonsen Crump and William Crump in Bountiful. He married Kim Trayner-Crump, later divorced. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and was a member of Saint Olaf parish for many years. He worked as a Vocational Counselor and was able to help other veterans at the VA with their struggles.

Crump was preceded in death by brother John Matthew Crump, cousin Alvin G. Simonsen III, father William, and grandparents.

Crump is survived by his mother, children, Lindsey Jean Crump, Allison Trayner and Anthony Chalker; uncle; aunts and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Olaf Catholic Church.
