OGDEN — On April 7, students at Saint Joseph Catholic Elementary School collected hundreds of items to help support Saint Martha's Baby Project through Catholic Community Services. This was a wonderful opportunity for the students to give back and support their community. Students also participated in a prayer service, where they learned about "God's Creation." After the prayer service, students went outside to the park in front of the school for a "Park Cleanup Day" to give back.

For the Baby Project, students collected the following items: eight nursing bags, 17 body lotions, three shower gel, one body spray, one baby health care kit, two body lotion sets, three nasal aspirators, three baby headbands, 70 washcloths, five baby shampoo, eight baby lotions, 23 packages of baby wipes, four perfumes, six packages of diapers, two Clinique bags, one package of cotton swabs, four toothpaste, one toothbrush, 81 receiving blankets, 42 baby outfits, 92 pair of socks, nine baby shoes, one swimsuit, 60 baby blankets, three picture frames, albums, 52 baby bottles, and two onesies, washcloths, and rattle sets.

Catholic Community Services also picked up 182 baby bottles, 32 breast-feeding bags, three 8-oz formula cans and 32 six packs of 2-ounce Enfamil premium formula.
