SALT LAKE CITY — Sherman Kennedy Snowball, 79, died Sept. 19. Snowball was born Nov. 21, to Elmer and Elthera Kennedy Snowball in Randolph, Utah. He served honorably in the United Stated Air Force from 1948 to 1952. He became an expert pipe fitter and rigger, who supervised many power plant and refinery construction projects. Snowball was a 50-year member of Union Local 140. He is survived by his two sons, Scott (Carolyn) Katsilas, and Stephen (Lisa) Katsilas; three sisters, Maxine Donovan, Nola Daley, Shirley (Clive) Grimmett; and brother Dee (Sharol) Snowball; many grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Ambrose Catholic Church. Committal was in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
