Simbang Gabi celebrations to begin Dec. 15

The Filipino traditional Advent celebration of the Simbang Gabi novena will take place at parishes throughout the Diocese of Salt Lake City beginning Thursday, Dec. 15. All Masses begin at 7 p.m. The locations follow.

Thursday, Dec. 15: Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, SLC

Friday, Dec. 16: St. Mary Parish, 4050 South 3900 West, West Haven

Saturday, Dec. 17: St. Thomas More Parish, 3015 E. Creek Road, Sandy

Sunday, Dec. 18: St. Patrick Parish, 1040 West 400 South, SLC

Monday, Dec. 19: Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, 715 West 300 North, SLC

Tuesday, Dec. 20: St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 7405 South Redwood Road, West Jordan

Wednesday, Dec. 21: St. John the Baptist Parish, 300 East 11800 South, Draper

Thursday, Dec. 22: Blessed Sacrament Parish, 9800 South 1700 East, Sandy
