NOTRE DAME, Ind. — Holy Cross Sister Anna Marie Towers (Sister M. Eustace), 86, died Jan. 25, at St. Mary’s Convent, Notre Dame, Ind. Sr. Anna Marie was born March 29, 1920, in Denver, Colo. She entered the Sisters of the Holy Cross in Hawthorne Calif. Her apostolic service was as a music director and private music teacher in schools in California and Utah. From 1950 to 1951, she was a music teacher and piano student at the provincial House in Ogden. From 1963 to 1964, she was a music director and private music teacher at Judge Memorial Catholic High School, Salt Lake City. From 1978 to 1984, she was an administrative assistant and raised funds for Catholic Community Services in Salt Lake City. Sr. Anna Marie was also the founder/director of the Women’s Rehab Association in San Mateo, Calif., and in Parish Ministry at St. Bernadette’s Parish in Los Angeles, Calif. A funeral Mass was celebrated at the Church of Our Lady of Loretto in Notre Dame, Ind.
