Ninety children recently participated in the weeklong St. George Parish Vacation Bible School. With a theme of Babylon, at the Bible School the children enjoyed the experience of being ancient Israelites.

Ninety children recently participated in the weeklong St. George Parish Vacation Bible School.  With a theme of Babylon, at the Bible School the children enjoyed the experience of being ancient Israelites. After being assigned to tribes, they participated in a market filled with merchant stalls where they made potted plants, strung beads, made tiles and designs and a mini earth. They also enjoyed some “ancient” food and heard the tale of Daniel who braved the lions’ den from “Daniel” himself.
