The focus of the faculty and staff at Saint Francis Xavier School is to make each child feel at home while they at school. Recently the pre-kindergarten students presented their spring program, "I am a Child of God." The room was filled with parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Halfway through the program, one student just did not want to sing anymore. One of the teachers, Mrs. Z, noticed her and took her behind the whiteboard to comfort her, as the photo shows. The parent who took the photo said it exemplifies what the school community and what it has meant their family.

School officials posted this picture to their Facebook page and had an enormous response by the parents and alumni expressing gratitude for the teachers and the impact they have had on students’ lives.
