St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School participated in this year’s Souper Bowl of Caring, a food drive sponsored by KUTV held in the weeks leading up to the Super Bowl. Students, parents, families, teachers and other members of the Jayhawk community donated 30,000 healthy food items, along with $6,242.26 in cash. The St. Joseph donations filled three trucks, which were sent to Catholic Community Services of Northern Utah. On Feb. 8, two St. Joseph students appeared on KUTV news to announce the results.
