SALT LAKE CITY — Theresa Estella Montaño Adams, 76, died Aug. 2. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish. Adams was born Jan. 20, 1930, to Felicita Chavez-Salazar and Adolfo Salazar. She taught fifth grade Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD) classes for more than 40 years at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish. She is survived by her husband, Alonzo J. Adams; brothers, Gilbert, Adolfo, Jr., and Theodore (Genevieve); daughters, Teresa Espinoza, Leah (Darrie) Johnson, Alisha and Lalo Montaño; sons, Alfonso (Rosie), Wilfredo, Isidore (Margaret), Randolph (Lorraine), and Thomas; 36 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Committal was in Redwood Memorial Estates
