For many years, Notre Dame de Lourdes Parish in Price has done the Walk for Life to show their opposition to abortion. This year, on Jan. 22, they gathered in front of the statue of our Lady of Lourdes outside the parish rectory, they began their walk, praying a pro-life bilingual rosary. They walked from the parish through town to the cemetery, where there is a one rose/one life dedication stone in honor of the unborn. The event was guided by Father Arokia David Dass, pastor; the parish's pro- life team of Terry Manzanares, Corinne Flores and all her family members, and Tiffany Packard; Diann Grasso; the parish director of religious education, Catherine Cane; and members of the Knights of Columbus council. They then returned to the parish's social center for lunch, during which the local Pregnancy Resource Center had an exhibition.
