WWII pilot's remains returned to son with honor + Enlarge

Jennings "Bud" Mease, Jr. recieves the commemorative flag from his father's burial at the ceremony Sept. 30 at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Mease Sr. was a pilot during World War II, his plane went down while flying supplies between China and India. The wreckage was discovered in by Arizona resident Clayton Kuhles in 2003. The U.S. military officially identifed Mease Sr.'s remains this spring. Mease Jr. chose to bury his father's remains at Mr. Calvary, where he himself will be buried when the time comes.
