Our sweet, loving grandson, son, husband, father, brother, uncle and cousin was taken from us in the early morning hours of July 2, 2024, in Knoxville, Tennessee. May he rest in peace until we meet again. (I love you, Dad).

Zach was born and raised here in Salt Lake City until he moved to Knoxville, Tennessee in 2011. He returned to Utah in 2015, where he worked for Eagle Environmental and Zach and Christina became parents to their first baby boy. They remained here in Salt Lake City until they moved back to Tennessee in 2020 until his tragic death.

Zach is survived by his loving wife Christina and his three beautiful children Jacob, Abel and Adrieene; parents Eli Herrera, Tacey Welch and Michelle Pena and his younger brother Antonio Jose Herrera; and other siblings Eli Junior, Selena Herrera, (Las Vegas), Pete Espinoza, Marguitta Pena and Karen Olsen, grandparents Jennie Giron Herrera, Candido Jr. Herrera (deceased), John and Francis Roybal and two very special people who made a difference in his life, Tilla and Herman Espinoza. I also wanted to thank the friends and family of Zach’s for your love and support during this difficult time. A rosary was held on August 24 at the Escalante Clubhouse in Salt Lake City to pray for our beloved.
