Honoring Scouts

The Most Rev. John C. Wester, Bishop of Salt Lake City, spoke on the theme of "Mothers and women in the life of young people" during the Influential People and Women in Scouting appreciation dinner on Oct. 3 at Heritage Park in Salt Lake City. The flag ceremony was conducted by scouts from the parish troops of Saint John the Baptist and Blessed Sacrament.

Diocese hosts annual meeting of the Equestrian Order

Cardinal Mahoney celebrated the Order of Mass with The Rite of Solemn Investiture for the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem today in the Cathedral of the Madeleine. The Mass was concelebrated by five other bishops, including the Most Rev. John C. Wester, Bishop of Salt Lake City. The Intermountain Catholic will carry coverage in the Oct. 11 issue. >>>
