  The St. Vincent de Paul Youth group has been making a difference through their monthly service projects.
The  youth group is comprised of students who are St. Vincent de Paul  Catholic School alumnae, parishioners, friends, neighbors and community  members “who wanted to do something for others,” said Jason Caywood, who  together with his wife Melissa formed the youth group.

   God has been good to Rafael and Laura Castillo and their family, and  the only way they know to show their gratitude is to serve their  neighbors and their community, they say. In recognition of all they do,  the Castillos have been named the Family of the Year by the Utah Knights  of Columbus.

   During the pandemic, members of the Catholic community lost loved ones  and friends who, due to quarantining and other health measures, they  were unable to fully mourn or say goodbye to. One such individual was  Tony Caputo, founder of Caputo’s Market and longtime community supporter  who died suddenly on March 10.
