I was thrilled to have my mother visit Utah last week, along with two very special friends: Monsignor Michael Harriman, pastor of Saint Cecilia Catholic Church in San Francisco, and his sister Patricia. We had a wonderful visit and Utah never looked better! Every day was filled with sunshine and warm, gentle breezes. We were able to fit in a wonderful drive to Mirror Lake as well as a ride on the Provo Canyon Railroad. The changing of the leaves was beautiful and even though I have what is commonly called colorblindness, I appreciated the fall colors through my mom and friends. No one seems to be any worse for my cooking and a good time was had by all.
