Alberto Cattelan

SALT LAKE CITY — Alberto Cattelan passed away Jan. 29, 2015. 

Cattelan was born in Diamondville, Wyo., to John and Mary Cattelan. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served honorably in World War II and was discharged as a sergeant. On April 24, 1948 he married Elaine Mae Vargas in Evanston, Wyo. He was a member of Saint James the Just Parish. 

Cattelan  is survived by wife Elaine; children Danny (Nancy), Angela Reed (Patrick), and Tina (Zak) Carter; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by son Doug, grandson Nicholas, brother Ronald, his parents, and sisters Mary and Linda. 

A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. James the Just Catholic Church.
