Rocky Mountain College Fair — Saturday, Oct. 25, 1-3 p.m. at the Juan Diego CHS gym, 11800 South 300 East, Draper. Features representatives from more than 200 colleges. Any 6-12th grade student can register in advance for the fair at www.gotocollegefair.com. Free and open to the public.

Knights of Columbus Oktoberfest — Saturday, Oct. 25, 6 p.m. at the Pope John Paul the Great Hall, St. Martin de Porres Church, 4914 South 2200 West, Taylorsville. Happy hour, German dinner, beverages and raffle. Cost is $40 for four adults.

Memorial Concert — Sunday, Oct. 26, 8 p.m., Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, SLC. The Choir of the Cathedral of the Madeleine will perform a concert dedicated to the memory of Madeleine Choir School benefactors, featuring Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem, op. 48. Holiday Survival Guide for Women — Saturday, Nov. 1, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at San Andres Catholic Church, 315 East 100 North, Payson. The seminar will  help you learn ways to protect your family from winter illness, manage all of the holiday snacking, find time for fitness, find inexpensive ways to share joy and overcome the stress of unrealistic expectations. Cost is $25 in advance or $30 at the door; includes catered lunch and course outline.
