Pastoral Center Closed — For the New Year’s holiday, the Diocese of Salt Lake City Pastoral Center will be closed Dec. 31-Jan. 4. It will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 5. We wish everyone a Happy New Year.

Solemnity of Mary, Holy Mother of God — Friday, Jan. 1 is a holy day of obligation. Check your parish for Mass times. The faithful in rural parishes and missions, in consideration of weather and travel conditions, could consider themselves dispensed from the obligation.

Eccles Organ Festival — Sunday, Jan. 10, 8 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, SLC. Featuring Kenneth Udy.

Rosary for Life — the annual Bilingual Rosary for Life will be Sunday, Jan. 17 this year at 2 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 275 U St., SLC, at the monument to unborn children or the mausoleum, depending on weather.

Mass for the Unborn & Ceremony of Light — Friday, Jan. 22, 6 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple.

Utah March for Life 2021 – Saturday, Jan. 30, 11 a.m. at the Utah State Capitol. Due to the pandemic, this event will be a car parade that will begin at the Capitol and travel down State Street. Those attending are asked to decorate their cars with appropriate pro-life messaging. Car flags will be sold at the event. Participation is free of charge.

Ash Wednesday — Wednesday, Feb. 17 is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent. Check your parish for Mass times.
