Book Panel about Faith — Tuesday, March 19, at 7 p.m. at The King’s English Bookshop, 1511 South 1500 East, SLC. Catherine Wolff and Tobias Wolff, editor of and contributor to (respectively) the anthology "Not Less Than Everything: Catholic Writers on Heroes of Conscience, from Joan of Arc to Oscar Romero," will lead a panel discussion concerning the basic theme of the book: holding fast to faith/principles while at odds with the authority of the institution in which one is embedded.

Utah’s Day of Giving — Friday, March 22 Holy Cross Ministries will be among the nonprofits that will benefit from donations from Utah’s Day of Giving. Holy Cross is seeking support for the Promotora Program, which connects low-income expectant mothers to vital community resources and health care. Pilgrimage to Italy and Medjugorje — October 19-29 with Father Javier Virgen and Deacon Rick Huffman. Curisillo — Father Joseph Frez, parochial vicar of Saint Francis Xavier Parish, has been appointed by Bishop John C. Wester to be the spiritual advisor for the Cursillo Movement. They meet Wednesdays after the 5:15 p.m. Mass in the Cathedral of the Madeleine, in the Cathedral plaza, 331 E. South Temple, SLC.
