A formal presentation begins at 6 p.m. A second open house will be Sunday, Jan. 29 from 12:30 to 3 p.m. The school is accepting applications for the 2012 - 2013 school year for pre-kindergarten through Grade Eight and is scheduling personalized tours. From Spirituals to Swing 2012 — Sunday, Jan. 29 at 7 p.m. at Saint Ambrose Catholic Church, 1975 South 2300 East, SLC. This a benefit concert to raise tmoney needed for the installation of the new pipe organ. Tickets are available at the door and are $10.00 ea. or $20.00 per family.

Old-Time Barn Dance — Saturday, Feb. 11, will be Saint Vincent’s Annual Auction at St. Vincent de Paul Holy Family Hall, 1375 E. Spring Lane, SLC. There will be appetizers, cocktails, dinner, dancing, live and silent auctions. Cost is $75.

Catholic Woman’s League — is accepting applications from 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations to be considered as beneficiaries of the CWL 2012 annual fundraiser, the fall benefit luncheon. Accepting Students — The Cathedral of the Madeleine is accepting students in grades K-7 for religious education. Elder Care Presentation — Wednesday, Feb. 29, at 7 p.m., at Saint John the Baptist Parish, 300 East 11800 South, Draper. Topics include welfare and care of the elderly with special focus on health care needs and issues, estate planning, and community resources. A licensed counselor social worker and attorney will give the presentation and be available for questions.

Friday Night Dinner and Bingo — at St. Francis Xavier Parish, 4501 West 5215 South in Kearns. Dinner is served at 5:45 p.m. and bingo starts at 6:45 p.m. The cost is $14 for a night of good food and fun entertainment.
