Healing Mass — Saturday, April 22 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1049 West 400 South, SLC, beginning with music ministry at 8:30 a.m. The Mass will be at 9 a.m., followed by Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and anointing. Fr. Arokia Dass David will preside; sponsored by the English Charismatic Renewal.

75th Anniversary Celebration — Saturday, April 29, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 210 S. Chapel St., Layton. Bishop Oscar A. Solis will celebrate at the 5 p.m. Mass. Dinner 7:30 p.m. Cost $30, space is limited. Dance performances by the Filipino and Mexican communities, followed by a dance for everyone.

First Saturday Devotion — Saturday, May 6, beginning with 9 a.m. Mass at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 9757 South 1700 East, Sandy, followed by potluck breakfast in the church hall and discussion of the First Saturday devotion. All are welcome.

Filipino Mass — The regular First Sunday of the month Filipino Mass will be held Sunday, May 7 at 3:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 670 South 1100 East, SLC. With the offering of flowers to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Fr. Rodelio Ignacio will preside.

The Diocese of Salt Lake City is sponsoring a contest for youth and young adults to tell about their experience with the Eucharist. Categories are essay, poetry, artwork, video, musical compositions and recorded performances. Prizes include a chance to present at the Eucharistic Revival Rally on July 9 at the Mountain America Expo Center in Sandy. Entry deadline is May 23. Catholic Community Services of Utah’s St. Martha’s Baby Project is in need of the following donations: newborn to three-month outfits, onesies, pajamas, baby shampoo, baby lotion, baby sunscreen, burp cloths, bibs, large reusable bags and baby quilts. The Diocese of Salt Lake City is invited to shop at the Ladies of Charity of Northern Utah’s Center of Hope Thrift Store on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 74 S. Orchard Drive, North Salt Lake. Donations of gently-used, clean and folded clothing also are accepted.
