Film Showing —Thursday, Jan. 15, 7 p.m. in the Juan Diego CHS auditorium, 300 East 11800 South, Draper. The JDCHS Human Rights International Club Film Festival will feature the documentary The Human Experience, with a running time of 90 minutes. Admission is free.

Living Rosary for Life — Friday, Jan. 23 after the 5 p.m. communion service at Saint Mary Catholic Church, 4050 South 3900 West, West Haven. Fifty people are needed to complete the Living Rosary. Contact Donna, 801-898-3821, for information or to participate. Families are welcome.

School Open House — The Madeleine Choir School will host its annual open house/information session on Sunday, Jan. 25, from 12:30 to 3 p.m. No appointment is necessary, just stop by for information and tours of the campus. Staff, students, and parents will be available to answer questions. The Madeleine Choir School is located at 205 1st Ave., Salt Lake City. 2015 Aquinas Lecture — Jesuit Fr. Thomas J. Reese, senior analyst for the National Catholic Reporter, will present this year’s Aquinas Lecture; his topic is “Pope Francis and Reform of the Church.” The lecture will be Sunday, Jan. 25, at 12:30 p.m. at Saint Catherine of Siena/Newman Center, 170 University St. in SLC. The event is free and open to the public.

Meeting for Black Catholic Families — with Andrew and Terri Lyke, founders of the Arusi network, which helps sustain and promote the unique gifts of Black Catholic families. The Lykes are consultors to the Vatican on family issues, have national speaking engagements, and will be presenters at the 2015 Vatican World Meeting of Families. The meeting will be Sunday, Feb. 15, from 2-4 p.m. at the Diocese of Salt Lake City Chancery offices, 303 E. South Temple.
