Pastoral Center Closed — For the Christmas holiday, the Diocese of Salt Lake City Pastoral Center will be closed Thursday through Monday, Dec. 24-28, and reopen at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29. Merry Christmas!

Mini-Cheer Clinic — Judge Memorial CHS’ cheer squad will hold a mini-cheer clinic for girls and boys, in grades first through fifth. After the two-day clinic on Jan. 4 and Jan. 7, participants will sit in the “Spirit Section” for the Jan. 8 varsity boys’ basketball game, help lead cheers, and perform at halftime. Placement Exam — Judge Memorial CHS will hold the annual Placement Exam for incoming ninth-graders for the 2016-2017 school year on Saturday, Jan. 9; check in is at 7:45 a.m. in the auditorium. Catholic Community Services’ annual Holiday Food and Fund Drive to help stock the shelves at the Northern Utah Food Bank, runs through Jan. 15. Take non-perishables directly to CCS. Donations can also be dropped off at any Smith’s Food & Drug, RC Willey, or Riverton Motors location.

Entries are being sought for  Family Rosary’s “Try Prayer! It Works!” contest, which is open to Catholic students in kindergarten through 12th grade. This year’s theme is “Who is my mother?
