Eccles Organ Festival — Saturday, Jan. 27, 2 p.m.  at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, SLC. Children ages 3 to 10 and their families will learn about the functioning of a pipe organ through the music of Henry Purcell and will have a chance to sing along with the Choristers of the Madeleine Choir School.

Dominic Sternhagen and Deacon Tom Tosti. The retreat will provide inspiration and information on how to nourish and grow a stronger Catholic spiritual life with the power of the Eucharist. The Office of Faith Formation is accepting applications for men and women who are interested in becoming certified lay ecclesial ministers for the Diocese of Salt Lake City. Deaconate Formation Class — Candidates are being sought for an upcoming deaconate formation class. Interested married men and their wives as well as interested single men aged 35 to 55 are invited to participate in upcoming inquiry sessions that are scheduled for early 2024. The sessions will be both virtual and in-person, and bilingual (English and Spanish).
