Joshua Project Kick Off Rally — Saturday, Feb. 18, 1-6 p.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 210 S. Chapel St., Layton, for ages 13-18. Registration is at 12:30 p.m. The Joshua Project is a three-year diocesan effort to involve youth in the Church and to stem youth suicide.

Benvegnu Lecture — Thursday, Feb. 23, 7 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1375 E. Spring Lane, SLC. Presenter is Gregory Glenn, the Cathedral of the Madeleine’s director of liturgy and music. He will speak on “The Eucharist: 60 Years After Vatican II.” Free and open to the public.

Open Gallery Night — at the Cathedral of the Madeleine. Friday, Feb. 24, 7 p.m. Learn about the organ and play your favorite tunes on the cathedral’s Kenneth Jones Gallery Organ. Diocesan Lenten Retreat — Saturday, March 4 in St. Vincent de Paul Parish’s Holy Family Hall, 1375 E. Spring Lane, Holladay. Friar José-David Padilla, OP will conduct a retreat in English from 9 to 11:45 a.m. A bilingual Mass will be celebrated at noon, followed by a no-cost Lenten lunch. Friar Padilla will offer preaching and reflections for Spanish speakers from 1 to 4 p.m. Pre-registration  required; email Trisha.Norcross@dioslc.org or Jacqueline.Rivera@dioslc.org. Catechists will receive three hours of certification credit for attendance.

Food Pantry Donations — The St. Vincent de Paul Youth Group is collecting donations for the food pantry at Cottonwood High School. Non-perishable food may be dropped off in the back of the church; financial donations may be made through Venmo @Melissa-Caywood; put “Cottonwood Food Pantry” in the description. Donation deadline is Feb. 19.

Online Prayer Group — The Flame of Love online prayer group meets on the third Friday of every month at 7 p.m. MST and the third Saturday of every month at 10 a.m. Join members from Utah, across the United States, Canada and in Asia.
