Life Chain — Sunday, Nov. 1, 1-2 p.m. at the intersection of 10600 South and State Street, Sandy. A silent prayer vigil to honor the unborn, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus. All religious denominations are welcome. Signs will be provided. No graphic or controversial signs or banners permitted. This peaceful, family-friendly event is designed to celebrate life in our community. Participants will stand along the sidewalk, observing all required health protocols.

St. Joseph Schools Fundraiser — Uncorked, a virtual event to benefit St. Joseph Catholic Schools, will be Nov. 7. Dinner pickup: 3-6 p.m.; online auction 7-10 p.m. $65/per person. For information, contact Kim Miller, kimmiller@stjosephutah.com.

Eccles Organ Festival — Sunday, Nov. 8, 8 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, SLC. Featuring Andrew Unsworth.

Project Rachel Mass — A Mass to celebrate the launch of Project Rachel, a diocesan post-abortion healing ministry, will be held Saturday, Nov. 14 at 5 p.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 1975 South 2300 East, SLC.

Mass of Thanksgiving — for the beatification of Fr. Michael J. McGivney. Tuesday, Nov. 17, 7 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, SLC. Social distancing requirements will be observed; the Mass also will be livestreamed on the cathedral YouTube channel.

Volunteers Needed — at the Good Samaritan Program from 10 a.m. to noon daily. The program is located at the St. Vincent de Paul dining hall, 437 West 200 South, SLC. To sign up, text 801-793-5679.
